2010 is a very Special year for the SAWomEng organisation, not only did the organisation reach its 5th birthday, but SAWomEng Conference Director, Traci Reddy, won SA's Most Influential Women in Business and Government - Tomorrow's Leaders under the Manufacturing and Engineering category. There were over 80 nominees for the award, so it is indeed a great honour. 

The winners in the 2010 Most Influential Women (MIW) in Business and Government Awards have been announced at a glittering event at Gallagher Estate in Gauteng on July 30. The event saw approx.700 top business women, with the late Fiona Coyne, as master of Ceremonies.

Several well-known businesspeople like Dr Raymond Patel of merSETA, Dr Snowy Khoza of the Development Bank of South Africa, Tina Eboka of Standard Bank, Riah Phiyega and Terry Booysen formed part of the independent judging panel, chaired by Yvonne Finch, who selected the  winners. For the first time eleven Tomorrow’s Leaders will be awarded a bursary and mentorship programme for a year in conjunction with Wits Business School, CEO and Yvonne Finch.

Congratulations on this achievement, Traci! We are all very proud of you and encourage you to keep shining! Great things are yet to come :)
