Sakhile Masuku is an exceptional young lady who has been closely involved with SAWomEng since 2009. The SAWomEng family takes this opportunity to celebrate Sakhile’s academic excellence and her graduation from the University of Cape Town on the 21st of December 2010.

Sakhile undertook her undergraduate studies in Bachelor of Social Science in Labour, Organisational Psychology and Human Resources Management (BSoc Sc LOPHRM). Her academic success is not only a result of her diligent nature, but her willingness to be exposed to fields outside her sphere of influence. This is what moulds her into a multifaceted professional woman and forms a crucial quality for her chosen career path.

During her final year of studies, she managed to hide the pressure she was under which is an admirable quality. The ever cheerful young lady stayed composed throughout the year and remained committed to her involvement with SAWomEng. Being the Finance and Administration Coordinator for the 2010 conference executive, her academic workload began to mount but she did not compromise her involvement with the conference preparations which required a high level of commitment.

Sakhile is destined for greatness and is continuing to climb up the ladder of success. In the academic arena, she has decided to further her studies in Organisational Psychology with a Bachelor of Social Science Honors in Training and Evaluation. She is still heavily involved with SAWomEng as the Website Coordinator for the year 2011. SAWomEng would like to wish Sakhile all the best in the rest of her academic endeavours and career path. We truly hope her involvement with engineers will not cease in the years to come.
