Accelerated population growth together with rapid urbanisation and industrialisation has resulted in large volumes of waste being generated.  This creates many problems such as pollution of air, soil, rivers and groundwater. It also creates major health hazards to humans. To be better deal with the issue of waste management, it is imperative that we reduce, reuse and recycle.
