Gita Goven, CEO of ARG, is an Architecture and sustainable design practitioner, committed to making the planet a happier and healthier place through the work of ARG Design: Creating innovative, inspirational, sustainable settlements and buildings. ARG engages the disciplines of Urban Design, Planning and Environmental Management, Architecture and Landscape Architecture. ARG Design and Gita Goven have been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for their work in sustainable built environment. Gita’s focus is to conceptually address the sustainable solutions in each project and guide the growth of ARG as a learning organisation and as thought leaders. ARG works with Municipal and Government Departments, Private Sector Clients, University training and research agendas, community structures, and local and international experts in forging relevant solutions.

Gita currently serves as chairperson of the Sustainability Institute, member of the training faculty of the Green Building Council of South Africa, and mentor and steering committe of the Urban Matters project.
