Monita Gutuza

by Sakhile Masuku on Saturday, Jul 24th, 2010

Monita Gutuza has an honours degree in Clinical Psychology and her passion for people development has taken her on many inward and outward journeys. She has worked in the areas of personal & leadership development and Personal Mastery for 15 years and continues to explore opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Monita has a Diploma in Practitioner Coaching (Coaching Centre, Bergvliet) and has worked extensively with the Insights Discovery (Personality Profiling) tool as a foundation for increased self awareness and personal development.
She believes in the holistic development of individuals and teams and therefore her approach includes the application of a variety of models and frameworks, including (but not limited to) Integral theory, Adult learning theory, NLP, Thinking Environment and Emotional Intelligence principles.

Her work experience ranges from one-on-one work to group development; marketing and client liaison; programme design and delivery; project and business management. She has had the privilege of working with and learning from people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, throughout South Africa, other African countries, the USA and the United Kingdom.

My approach focuses on building relationships that encourage reflection and introspection, allowing increased awareness to stimulate action that leads to success-producing behaviours. We’re all capable of so much more than we allow ourselves to believe. What an incredible gift to ourselves and others, when we more fully live to our potential because we have gained insight into practical ways of living more of the abundance that has been given to us.
